A Valais rarity, this grape variety can grow up to 1000 meters above sea level.
“Païen” is the Lower Valais name for the white wine made from the Savagnin (Traminer) variety. Its name indicates a descent from pagan times.
Shining pale gold of beautiful intensity. On the nose, aromas of citrus fruits, spicy notes and rye bread. On the palate, the wine is strong, balanced and full of character. Long-lasting, classy finish. Wine with very good aging potential.
Best served as light apéro, alongside a cheese board or sea food.
