Designed by architect Heinz Julen, this three-level penthouse loft chalet located in the mountaineering and ski resort village of Zermatt in Switzerland is a beautiful contemporary mountain retreat.<\/p>\n The 260 square meter (2,800 sq. ft.) chalet features a fireplace nesting in the middle of the living-room window, and original hand-made furniture (including Julen\u2019s famous chandeliers and chairs).<\/p>\n The use of glass roofs provides a very open and airy feel.
