SAMARAS

International author and publicist Samaras is responsible for the imagery and selection of the current show LES POINTS CARDINAUX™ in the Kunsträume Zermatt.

As lecturer at Minda de Gunzburg Center for European Studies at Harvard University and Harvard Museums, Samaras explored the socio-scientific significance of the collective memory of a society within the disciplines of visual arts, film and architecture.

In structure and context, his projects reflect his numerous international, genre-spanning performances and publications in film and photography – outstanding is his work documenting the Patagonian and European Icefields since 3 decades as commitment to the climate debate and requirements to modern societies.

The artist received letters of recommendation for preeminent institutes in the United States, a.o. the New School for Social Research, New York. His scripts and conceptual works of art are primarily dedicated to the linguistic fields and semantics of the Aesthetic Theory.

His humanitarian concept to the history of the UN found global partnerships with the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and Centre Mondial de la Paix, to mention but a few.
