The Magic Mountain exhibition in Zermatt (13.12-28.12.2024) presents four outstanding Swiss artists:

  1. Vierwind (Micha Häni), born in Bern in 1994, is known for his dynamic blend of lettering and painted motifs. Influenced by graffiti and street art, Vierwind’s unique style combines typography with realistic imagery, using his signature keyhole motif. His works have been showcased globally, with notable collaborations with the Swiss government, Xzibit, The Outlawz, and Hugo Boss.
  2. Simon Berger (b. 1976) has pioneered a revolutionary technique using hammer strikes on glass to create expressive portraits. His work, which he calls “morphogenesis,” involves the creation of faces through cracks and creases, reflecting powerful emotional expressions. Berger’s art has captivated audiences worldwide, including exhibitions at major venues in Italy, and collaborations with Porsche and Bulgari.
  3. Samira Kurt, a young artist from Bern, explores physical and psychological boundaries in her work, often centering on her own body. Her piece Self-Portrait (2023) attempts to express emotions that resist verbal language, focusing on moments that cannot be easily articulated.
  4. Sebastian Magnani (b. 1985) is a Zurich-based photographer known for his intimate portraits and mastery of light and color. After transitioning to photography full-time in 2011, Magnani gained international recognition through collaborations with The New York Times, IWC Schaffhausen, and Apple. His latest series, Daily Bat, humorously portrays the Batman character in everyday, relatable scenarios. This exhibition highlights a rich diversity of artistic approaches, from photography to glass art, offering a thought-provoking experience.
